#Megaman x sigma stage 2 password
The save feature just remembers the last password you had. The game didn't lie - The game gave you a password. I’m a pussy because the game straight up lied when saying it saved my progress? I understand how frustrating beating all those Mavericks again can be but realistically the only difficult part of that entire lead up is the fucking spider.I hate that fucking spider. You're right - But the game also came out in 1993 and things were different back then - This was a time where many games didn't even have a save feature and you beat them all in one go. That's just absolutely horrible and lazy design on Capcom's part. Like I understand the frustration and it totally is annoying but I don't know if it's cursing off the developers who made the game 25 years ago annoying. This straight up is how it works and how it has always worked - So sorry to see you drop the game right now and miss out on 7 other great games because of a mistake that'll literally take you a half hour to get back through. Still think the system is garbage for tricking the player with the password save screen.

Mad I didn’t get the achievement but whatever. Used the Rookie Hunter mode to get back up to where I was and beat Sigma after turning it off. No fucking way am I going through that BS spider boss and every single Maverick all over again because of a beginner's trap like this. I don't give a fuck if that was how the SNES game was. If this is legitimitely the case I'm straight up dropping this game right now. What the actual fuck is this bullshit? Did I just screw something up, or can you actually not save and quit between Sigma stages? Do that, load the game back up and I'm all the way back at Sigma stage 1 with Vile respawned. Got to the final boss, and after multiple attempts, I decided to save and exit the game just to change the dash to the shoulder buttons, since I felt I could dash/jump/shoot more fluidly that way.
